Pricing
Priced to the work, not to a plan
Two products, two ways of scoping them. Neither is sold by the seat, and neither is quoted before we understand what you actually need built.
Why there is no price list
BlackboxLabs quotes every engagement individually. What a build costs depends on how your process works and how much of it is worth automating, which is something we work out together on a call rather than guessing from a pricing page. There are no tiers to compare, no per-seat licence, and nothing to cancel later.
How each product is priced
Software Builder
Custom, scoped to what you need
Scoped to what you need built. A single workflow replaced is a different piece of work from a whole operations system, so the quote follows the scope rather than a bracket we put you in. We price it once the process is mapped and you have agreed the map is right.
- Quoted per project, after the process is mapped
- What we build is yours — no per-seat licence
- Staged so you see working software before the full commitment
Voice Agent
Starts from a smaller commitment
A voice agent is a more contained build than a full software project, so it starts from a smaller commitment — and we will tell you on the first call roughly where yours lands. What moves it is how many kinds of call it has to handle and what it needs to reach into to answer them.
- A smaller starting commitment than a full build
- Scoped by the kinds of call it answers, not by call volume
- You get an indicative range on the first call, free
Common questions
Why not just publish a price?
Because a fixed price would either overcharge the simple builds or underquote the hard ones. We would rather spend half an hour understanding yours and give you a number we can stand behind.
How do we get an actual number?
One free call. We walk through how your work moves today, name the first thing worth automating, and scope that. You leave with a clear next step whether or not you hire us.
Is there a per-seat or monthly licence?
No. You are not buying a subscription to a platform, so there is no seat count to grow and nothing that expires. What we build is yours.
Can the work be split into stages?
Usually yes. Most engagements are staged so you see something real early, which also means you find out whether it is working before the whole scope is committed.
What if we need both products?
Often both, in the same engagement — the public site and the internal automation are built together so they stay in step. It is still scoped and quoted as one piece of work.
Start with a conversation
Bring the messy version of your process. Working out what is worth building, and what it would cost, is the part we are actually good at.
